As our own community and those around the world are struggling with Coronavirus COVID-19, we are closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the CDC and our local health officials. We know you rely on us when emergencies happen and as always, we want to be here for you. While the risk is presently low for a majority of people, we have taken increased steps to ensure we can continue to service you while protecting your health and the health of our technicians.

We have transitioned to a remote work model for all employees to limit any risk of exposure. Our team is prepared and ready to meet all your oil delivery, heating and air conditioning needs.

As this event is unprecedented, we must also adapt our business policies.
If you are accustomed to mailing checks or visiting our office to make payments, we ask that you instead call our office to consider making other payment arrangements. For example, we can accept your check payment over the phone for no additional charge. As always credit card payments are accepted.
If you haven’t done so already, you may also make secure credit and EFT payments in your client portal.

We apologize in advance, but to minimize client/employee exposure, we may find it necessary to reschedule maintenance and non-emergency service calls.
Our technicians will be required to use one-time-use, disposable shoe covers and gloves, and are taking precautions to sanitize our tools and equipment. Technicians will be wearing face masks and are instructed to maintain a social distance of 6’ from our clients and other Tragar staff when possible. Our employees are closely monitoring their own health. To date, there have been no reported cases of an employee exhibiting symptoms related to COVID-19. In the event there is, any individual who is presenting symptoms or fear they may have been exposed, will self-quarantined, along with any employees they’ve been in contact with.
Our top priority is your health and safety and we will continue to be here to assist you. We also ask that if you have been exhibiting any symptoms related to COVID-19, and you have recently had service, to please call us so that we can help ensure the health and safety of our team members and other customers.
YOUR HOME HYGIENE
Home hygiene is always a top priority and especially when germs are likely to spread. It is important to follow the advice from our local authorities and maintain good airflow in your home.
You can practice good home hygiene by:
- Disinfect and clean surfaces frequently
- Ensure the vents and filters in your home are clean – central heating and cooling systems ventilate the air in our homes to protect our health.
- Improve your indoor air quality with products that can filter very small particles, kill germs, and control humidity. This includes products such as high-efficiency filter systems, air purification systems, UV Lights, humidifiers and dehumidifiers.
We strongly encourage our clients to explore air quality products that can help keep their home healthier. To support these healthy options we are currently providing $50 off the installation of these items.
DELIVERIES AS SCHEDULED
Future interruptions in the supply of heating oil remains uncertain. We have oil drivers on the road 7 days a week to ensure all our clients have an ample supply of heating oil in their tanks.
