What are Heating Service Contracts?
We’re coming to the end of winter, which means it’s a good time to assess what you want out of your home heating system. You may need a heating system repair or you might need to make certain your current heating system is well maintained. You may be concerned about energy prices and are looking for price certainty and you probably are just looking for peace of mind.
You want your heating system to run smoothly at all times. That’s why you want to think carefully about service contracts for your heating system. A service contract from Tragar Home Services can help you to know exactly what you’re getting from your system and keep it running properly for years to come.

Tragar Can Provide 24/7 Service

Tragar Home Services can protect your heating system 24/7. If you have a service contract with us, we’ll be there when there’s a problem. We’ll also be there to try to maintain your system to prevent problems from happening. We’re home heating experts at Tragar and we want you to know the advantages you get from our service contracts.

Types of Heating Service Contracts

When choosing a fuel oil company, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) says, “consumers should check, among other things, a company’s oil prices compared to the industry average, what is included in the service agreement, any special offers or discounts available, and the customer experience record of the company.”
Tragar takes pride in our 5- star customer service guarantee. Our team will respond to your emergencies within two hours and we will meet your scheduled appointments. If you have a full-service oil plan from Tragar you’ll be protected in the event of emergency. If you do need repairs, you can get discounts and there are also discounts on parts and labor. We can also keep things running with a yearly tune-up and maintenance package.
Getting regular maintenance done will lengthen the life of your heating system. A service plan from Tragar will also ensure that your oil is delivered at all times. With our automatic oil delivery, we’ll monitor your oil usage and figure out your pattern of usage. Then we’ll fill your tank when you need it. You don’t even have to be home, and we’ll let you know that we were there by leaving an invoice.
Tragar also offers price protection programs. Our fixed program allows deliveries to be made at the agreed on price for the duration of the contract. The fixed gallon program fixes a price and the number of gallons. If the number of gallons are used up, automatic heating oil deliveries will be made to your home at a price that does not exceed fair market value.
Another price package we offer is the cap program in which Tragar agrees not to exceed the agreed capped price. With the guaranteed ceiling program, we agree that oil delivery will not exceed an agreed upon delivery price and will lower as market prices move lower. Finally, there’s the Market Variable Discount Program in which Tragar agrees to make deliveries at 30 cents below our daily discount price.
